Great place to have authentic Indian Nepalese food. I thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday brunch. Priced at 23 $ including tax and 18% service charge. The place is at a very good location in the loop. Interiors are welcoming. Food spread is good and the goat curry today was my favourite. Service is prompt and friendly. They could add a few more dishes to the buffet and ensure the tandoori chicken is more tender . 9.5/10 for this place

BINGO … jackpot! The buffet is a bit overwhelming… but I missed the flavors and I found it here @Chicago Curry House!!! Thank You

I didn’t wanna go because I thought the pictures from other reviews didn’t look very appetizing .. but my friends insisted and so we went for the buffet and it was really delicious. Plenty to choose from. That’s why I’m uploading pictures.

Chicago Curry House is one of those places where you can immediately tell the kitchen knows exactly what it’s doing. The curry is excellent — rich, deeply spiced, and balanced without being overwhelming. Every bite tastes intentional, not rushed or watered down. The sauces are bold and comforting at the same time, the kind that make you slow down and actually enjoy the meal instead of just eating to be full. What really stood out to me, though, were the chickpeas. They’re cooked perfectly — soft, flavorful, and fully infused with the spices rather than just sitting in the sauce. They don’t feel like an afterthought or filler; they’re a highlight. If you like chickpea-based dishes, this place absolutely delivers. The food feels hearty, satisfying, and made with care. Whether you’re already a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it more seriously for the first time, Chicago Curry House is the kind of spot that reminds you why curry is so loved in the first place. Highly recommended for anyone who wants great curry and genuinely well-prepared vegetarian options — especially anything with chickpeas.

The food was really good. It's pretty decent buffet for that price. They'll have the buffet option every day and the menu is very good. I liked the taste of food. It is not so spicy and not so bland. The food is up to the mark.

We were at Southbank Park visiting the marina - a little bit out of the way. Google found us this restaurant a few blocks away. It’s a fairly small place tucked away in a corner - luckily we could smell the aroma from a block away. They had us at “lunch buffet” 🤗. It was uncrowded and quiet around noon. For a small restaurant the buffet choices were excellent. Everything was delicious. I loved the Mango Shake. My companions also loved the mango pudding but it was too sweet for my taste. I’m giving the restaurant 3 stars for atmosphere, not because I didn’t like it but it’s just a basic place, nothing fancy.

Everything from the food, the service, the atmosphere. All of it was TOP tier. Never seen such a peaceful, and beautifully decorated restaurant. The paintings, the tables and their arrangement all beautifully done. The owner is an amazing, sweet, and kind man. Running the business for 20 years, they work hard for sure! And back to the food? AMAZING!!!! I’m in absolute awe and will definitely come back anytime I’m in Chicago.

Chicago Curry House Indian & Nepali Cuisine offers a great mix of Indian and Nepali flavors. The dishes are rich, well-spiced, and feel authentic—especially the curries and momos. Cozy vibe, friendly service, and a solid spot when you’re craving something flavorful and comforting.

Went for the dinner, but the quality was very good nonetheless. What I really liked was the biryani, which had a deeper red color than most biryanis I have tried elsewhere - probably a sign they used more spices because it was also extremely flavorful. Additionally the garlic naan was airy and fluffy, and actually maintained this texture even 2 days after we went. The butter chicken was excellent as well. Great service, great food, all for quite an affordable price.
